At Blossoming Minds Learning Centre, we believe music-makingis a basic life skill, just like walking or talking.  We know from research that music-making helps to create pathways  in the brain, called neural connections.

And while listening to music is certainly key to creating them, it's when kids actively participate in music that they make the strongest connections.

Research shows that kids who are actively involved in music, do better in reading and math when they start school, play better with others and have higher self-esteem, and are better able to focus and control their bodies.

Music is incorporated into many of our daily routines, in addition to regularly scheduled music sessions as part of programming, taught by trained musicians.

In our music classes, the children learn songs, play instruments, and learn to be more aware of their bodies and improve their physical coordination.  They develop their understanding of the elements of music such as pitch and rhythm, while having fun and improving their memory and concentration skills.
